Originally booked online for wax removal for later in the week but the day before my appointment, I called and asked if they could fit me in that same day, which they could! I contacted this service because I have on going wax issues affecting both ears. I previously used another service. What I thought was different to the other service I previously used is that they put a camera in my ears before, during and after the microsuction. This allowed me to see the results and gave me an insight and understanding of my wax build up. Sam the audiologist is clearly a knowledgeable man who empathised with the impact it was having on my wellbeing. My hearing is back again and I feel blessed that I have found this service. Superb service. Sam was fantastic - he explained what he was doing at each stage of the process and put me at ease. he is also a properly qualified audiologist with years of experience, unlike some ear wax removal practitioners. Getting out my compacted ear wax turned out to be a tricky process, so I would not have been happy with someone who does this as a sideline attempting this.I would definitely recommend this practice for all things ears. The receptionist Jo is also very friendly. Overall an exceptional practice. Oh, and I can hear better now too!

As we got home Mum stated that she had had a fabulous morning! Sam and the team have looked after Mum from the moment we arrived as new clients in the autumn. They are professional, knowledgeable and kind. The studio is calming, friendly and brilliantly staffed. The coffee is rather good too! After an initial visit for wax removal I signed Mum up for regular visits and this morning we collected her new hearing aids. Nothing was too much trouble - everything explained beautifully and clearly in a non-patronising manner - to both myself and Mum! I had an hearing problem, the Doctor advised that I should have a build up of wax removed from my ears. Booked online, very easy to do, turned up for my appointment and Sam did the job so to speak. Excellent service. First time. Referred by a friend. Everyone was very courteous and friendly. They were running a few minutes late so I was offered a coffee and a mint club biscuit! Everything was explained very well and not rushed, and a camera was used to see inside my ear before and after, which was all very interesting and reassuring.Removing the wax went very quickly, but because I had some deep down it hurt a little to remove it, but nothing like when I went to the doctors. Would I go again when I have to? Absolutely.

What a difference it’s made, having my one ear cleared of wax buildup. I had not had any discomfort, or loss of hearing aside from an occasional muffled sound from vet the past couple of weeks. After a thorough examination, and seeing the ear totally blocked, my one ear was cleared out - it was a bit noisy, but not painful at all. So much nicer than the old syringing method!!
